Well, I did say Tuesday and here it is, two minutes past midnight. Once again, here are 30 recolors of Sarhra's eyes, 21 "normal" eyes and 9 fantasy-esque eyes. Just like last time, there's a regular custom set, a geneticized townie-friendly set (wherein darker colors are dominant and lighter colors are recessive), and different defaults for you to pick and choose. I've included alien defaults, genie defaults for you to sort through, bigfoot defaults for you to sort through, a new Maxis vampire default, a vampire default using Mouseyblue's Polyster Bride skintone as was requested, AND a set of contacts for ALL the recolors I've done, 60 in total. You can only have one set of defaults at a time and only one default of any given color. This means one light blue, one dark blue, one green, one vampire, one bigfoot, etc. The normal eye colors are named after Bright Eyes songs and the alien eyes are named after Conor Oberst songs. Everything is compressorized for your convenience, previews are included, and all files are clearly labeled. There are so so many pictures ahead, I should be ashamed. Except I'm not. Thank you Sarhra for making some pretty sweet eyes and changing your policy, Mouseyblue for making a pretty sweet skintone and letting me massacre it, and everyone who gave me input on these recolors. Today was "Phobia's Body Hates Her Day" seeing as I had a splitting eyeache, a stomachache, had no sleep, and developed a very unpretty allergic reaction to the cleaning products I used to clean MOUSE POO from my oven. Today was bollocks. Anyway, ha ha neon hair ha ha! The meshes are not included, previews are included, files are compressorized. Nouk hairs work for all ages and the Seomi hair works for child to elder. If you're looking for the natural retextures AND meshes, take your fine fine self over to Quit The Forest Part One (Nouk's Side Braid), Rough Trade Part One (Seomi's Wind Hair), and Cherry Cola Part One (Nouk's Rockabilly Hair). Someone requested paler recolors of Kiki's PhasMaxian skintones and OH HEY I already did that but never released it as it was kind of a sloppy job on my part. I also just installed Mansions & Gardens and I don't have a custom camera, lighting, or any hacks (pose or otherwise) so enjoy these incredibly mediocre and very minimally edited preview pictures. All sims are wearing zero makeup aside from eyelashes (more evidence as to how much I rely on the stuff) and there's a geneticized+townified set and a custom set available for download. The handsome swarthy fellow with the black underoos is Keely's Buster. Pale 01 is from the swatch I was provided and Pale 02 is the original pale recolor I made for myself. The Very Dark skintone taught me exactly why no one ever makes really dark skintones. These are like just Kiki's originals--all Barbie (I can't be arsed to care about nipples), Maxis bodies, and edited faces with a bit of Louis/Simcribbling. An enormous, huge, tremendous, gargantuan, elephantine, rubenesque thank you to Kiki for letting me share these recolors. Please check out the originals at Phasmatic Sims! Fritz is the offspring of LL30's Harper Bradley and one of my sims, Deirdre Strange. Originally she started out as a boy, but I never make things for boys, so she mostly lives in my game as a girl. Fritz is delightfully androgynous (at least in thought and deed), wants to become a Space Pirate by any means necessary, spends an inordinate amount of time using the telescope, and enjoys listening to New Wave music and dyeing her hair. She comes packaged with Maxis hair and clothes, though if you want the hair she has here, check out Aelia's recolors of Yuxi's Maxis M2F Seasons Caesar conversion. I also usually have her in a paler recolor of Kiki's PhasMaxian S1 that I made for personal use but she comes linked to whatever S1 default you've got as well as with her default alien eyes as when she was "born". She breeds really well and looks excellent as a boy, as seen here, here, and here. Do whatever you like with her, turn her back into Boy!Fritz (who has terrible fashion sense, by the way), age her down, make her a zombie, whatever, just don't claim her as your own, or upload her anywhere. I've mostly finished everything that's going to be uploaded before the trip. Fritz should be up sometime later tonight (as a guy or a girl, which do you prefer?), after I make some chili and clean a little bit. I never thought I'd be one of those people who's crazy busy during the holiday season but I am. Here's a retexture of XMSims 87, with textures by chokelate and alpha-edit by Earthdragon at MTS2 because I really dig those wacky asymmetrical bangs. Mesh is included in the set of naturals but not in the neons, previews are included, naturals are family-binned and linked with elder grey in the black recolor file, and all files are compressorized. I'm trying to remember exactly who I'm supposed to be responding to and about what, so I'm sorry if my replies are extremely delayed and/or scattered over the next week. Charlie! Chahlie. You ever watch All Dogs Go To Heaven? Best pronunciations of Charlie ever. Charlie is an optimistic sort of gal, prone to watching the cooking channel at all hours of the day, culinary delights and disasters, and puttering around in her garden. In my game, she's a airquotes plantsim /airquotes, a vegetarian (slash cannibal?), and doesn't smustle but dances solo. She comes packaged with Maxis clothing and hair. Buyer beware, her eyes are geneticized and townified, so be sure to install her using CleanInstaller. If you want the hairstyle she sports in my game, check out Miki's great Juice retexture. She looks awesome as a guy, as seen here, here, and here. She breeds pretty well and makes especially handsome looking boys, though good luck trying to breed out that nose and that chin. That's what I love about Charlie. Very normal looking head on but she's got that crazy chin and that strong nose with a slight bump in the middle. More pictures of her are scattered throughout my LJ. Do what you like with her just don't claim her as your own or upload her anywhere. I'd cry.

Here's the first batch of neons I promised. I realize not everyone has a use for neon hair, but for those of you who have rainbow legacies or maybe just want that one particular hairstyle in hot pink, these might be useful. Depending on the mesh and the resolution of the textures, Neena's textures can look really really smooth and silky, which is what happened here. So even if you may not care for Maxis match hair per say, you might still like this. I retextured Nouk's Side Braid with chokelate's textures, obviously, because the original was too shiny for my tastes even when I did have nothing but Nouked hair in my game. I also alpha-edited the extra long strands near the front because those sorts of things bother me unduly. Welp, chiho924 asked me to take a stab at retexturing this Peggy hair. I quite like the hairstyle, but I had to remove the child and toddler ages because frankly they look terrible. Unrealistic for toddlers and the mesh sits incredibly high on girl's heads. Also, the teen mesh is gappy as hell, but I included it just in case any of you are sitting on a fixed mesh because aside from the gaps it'd be all right. I retextured the hair clips too, some of them using textures from Squidfingers. Hair textures are by chokelate as per usual because why fix what ain't broken? I also alpha-edited the hair so that it isn't so stringy and removed the weird tufts from the forehead. Mesh and preview are included, files are compressorized, family-binned, and linked. Unnecessary ages are removed and the elder grey is linked to the black recolor file. Enjoy enjoy enjoy.

Somebody requested a retexture of this XMSims hairstyle on GoS awhile back so naturally I ignored what everyone else wanted (Nouk!) and did what I wanted (Neena!). XMSims 70 for men, retextured with chokelate's textures. Works for all ages except elder (sorry elders), mesh and preview are included, files are compressorized, and everything's family-binned all nice and tidy. I realize including the mesh is against XMSims policy but fuck it. I alpha-edited the back so that it wouldn't be so long (it was cutting into a lot of collars) and the bangs a bit. The house in the previews is by An_na. I've been somewhat preoccupied so I apologize for a lack of commenting on my part. This month and the next are going to be hectic as hell.

This is one of the first hairstyles I retextured, so I'm sorry if it's a bit rough. Seomi's "Wind" hairstyle for men, the alpha edit being based on the one by Wycked at MTS2. I changed the front bangs and side pieces quite a bit, but left the back much the same. The mesh and a preview are included, files are compressorized, files are family-binned and linked, unnecessary ages are removed, elder grey is in the black recolor file, and it works for child to elder. As a warning though, for some reason my recolor files for this mesh are pretty big. I have no idea why. An enormous thank you to aikea_guinea for fixing the gaps in the original mesh! Also a thank you to chokelate as usual for her textures and Wycked for the shaved scalp texture.

I was originally going to go with some bizarre housewife theme for this set of preview pictures but I couldn't get a proper set of glasses to cooperate so I went for subtle steampunk instead, sans goggles. I know that some people feel squicky about this mesh but I like pinned back bangs (pomps!) and pigtails so that's too damn bad. I tried some alpha-editing magic but egad, gaps. Some clothing clips through the actual tails, naturally, as they lie close to the chest. Raon 37 for ladies, all ages, mesh and preview included, files are compressorized, elder grey is in the black recolor file, family linked and binned, polycount is 2402 so yay for those of you with less than stellar computers and a taste for Maxis matchish textures courtesy of Ninika/chokelate. Pudding snack cups and candy hearts for Neena. Now it's back to the hole with me as I am tired and have been ignoring precious things like sleep, books, and mugs of hot tea.

A late night update from me as my sleep schedule is completely screwed. This is the last couple of natural retextures for awhile, then I might churn out some alternative recolors or focus on something that isn't hair. Or maybe take a break. Who knows. I've tried retexturing quite a few of Nouk's meshes but this is the only one that came out well, so here's Nouk's Rockabilly hair from a former WNF Aspiration set. It's been retextured with chokelate's yummy textures as per usual, mesh and preview pic are included, files are compressorized, family linked and binned, elder grey is in the black recolor file, works for all ages! This is one of my favorite hairstyles so I tried a couple more colors than usual. And yes, I have a thing for pointy-eared sims.

Whatever happened to all my object recolors? I don't know! SimPE is cumbersome to work with. I'll get back to it, I promise. In the meanwhile, the latest step in me retexturing all the hair meshes I have with chokelate's textures because they're Maxisish and smooth and lovely. I also alpha-edited some bits to be less wispy, as that always bothers me. Raon's 059 for girls, in natural colors, neons forthcoming. simpoly says the poly count is 5877, so those of you on slower machines may wanna pass. I'd been meaning to upload this for awhile and was waiting to finish the neons but I figure I'll just release one big fat post of multiple neons later and give you the naturals for now instead. Helga 096, a cute pixie cut with some slight fivehead retextured with chokelate/Neena_Needles/Ninika's textures. A hearty thank you to Neena for being cool about her lovely hair textures. I recolored them a tad in order to have some more shade options because one of each was getting somewhat boring. Thanks to Helga for making decent free hair. The usual dribble-- mesh and preview is included, files are clearly labeled and compressorized, binned and family linked, available for teen to elder, grey is in the black file. My to-do list is getting stupid long, but I'm going to try and at least get a few things done a week. I can't use my regular PC as often right now because it's the only one that can play Warhammer Online and my boyfriend is semi-addicted. I bet you're sick of seeing my goddamn entries and sims everywhere. Heck, I'm sick of seeing them everywhere. But before I go back into the pit, here are some outfits because (once again) ugly_kitties motherfuckin' said so. They're the same as Smart Went Crazy except they're for teen males and AL/Seasons are not required so hurray! The original conversion is by SharonSims2 at MTS2 whose policy says you can only upload recolors at MTS2 or InSIM but I don't frakking like either of those places so I'm sticking them here. There's never enough outerwear! I'm trying to fill all the holes in my CC and this is one of the plugs. That was a terrible analogy, I'm sorry. So anyway, outerwear for female adults, recolors of a Maxis mesh so Seasons is needed, preview pic is included, files are compressorized. Textures are Maxis except where they're manipulated patterns from Squidfingers. I admit I made this outfit before making the cute little suits and so the cute little suits are a slightly better/cooler, but WHATEVER, THERE'S NEVER ENOUGH OUTERWEAR.

This is the story of a Seasons career outfit which was unlocked by callum91 at MTS2 but then reworked by Maxis and inserted as a pretty decent Adult Male Everyday outfit into Apartment Life. This is not a recolor of the outfit in AL, because AL is a newer EP and not everyone has it yet while Seasons is an older EP and is awesome. So you need Seasons I'm pretty sure. Once again, I've made an assortment of weird neon rainbow things for my weird neon rainbow family. The mesh and a preview pic are included and files are compressorized. The textures are all Maxis with some hand-painting/fudging by me here and there. Who the hell still wears wallet chains? T-shirt graphics are provided by the good Dingbat font makers at dafont.com. I was going to release the hairstyle featured below (Seomi Wind for males) but I realized it is GAPPY AS SIN and only after I already spent an age retexturing and alpha-editing it. So poo.

EDIT: Kielen has extracted the Rockstar mesh so now it will work with the base game and Corinne retextured it with my recolors! Download the new mesh with the Smart Went Crazy recolors below!

Last one, I promise. Maxis-match retextures of Peggy 0093 along with recolors. I actually did the natural retextures awhile ago for myself but chokelate said it was okay for me to share so I continued on with neon colors. Thanks Ninika, for your wonderful textures and for being a sweetheart. I edited the alpha slightly so the ends weren't so thin and wispy, that's my grand contribution. The meshes and previews are included, files are clearly labeled and compressorized. The dog has fleas, there are mice in the house, my boyfriend has a wicked cold, and my annual bout of untreated depression has arrived, so I'm going to be somewhat absent or distracted until at least one of those dilemmas is solved.

I've been on a really weird tacky retro kick lately. I even replaced my normal thick black eyeglass frames with cat eyes, though that's something I've been meaning to do forever (i.e. the last five years). So I thought it'd be a good idea to neon up the EA store's unfortunately named "Tiffany Crown" mesh. Though without the crown of course, because without it it's almost a proper beehive and therefor satisfying to my Mad Men-addicted mind. Works for ages young adult, adult, and elder, unnecessary age groups have been removed, mesh is included, preview pictures are included, and files are compressorized. I will warn you right now however that due to the way this mesh's textures are done it was an absolute trial to do streaks and have them be entirely seamless, so there are flaws (pic). These aren't deal-breaking flaws for me, but if they are for you, I'm really sorry. They're the least noticeable on the purple and orange colors. Normally I don't like streaked hair, but I do like these enough to share 'em with you, even if they aren't perfect.
