Well, I did say Tuesday and here it is, two minutes past midnight. Once again, here are 30 recolors of Sarhra's eyes, 21 "normal" eyes and 9 fantasy-esque eyes. Just like last time, there's a regular custom set, a geneticized townie-friendly set (wherein darker colors are dominant and lighter colors are recessive), and different defaults for you to pick and choose. If you're looking for defaults of the original set, check these out by [info]engram_au. If you're looking for defaults and other recolors check out this set by [info]inkbottleblue. If you want my first set of recolors, here's Easy/Lucky/Free Part One with supernatural defaults here. If you want my recolors with a different, more animation-friendly sclera, check out these edits by [info]without_pith.

I've included alien defaults, genie defaults for you to sort through, bigfoot defaults for you to sort through, a new Maxis vampire default, a vampire default using Mouseyblue's Polyster Bride skintone as was requested, AND a set of contacts for ALL the recolors I've done, 60 in total. You can only have one set of defaults at a time and only one default of any given color. This means one light blue, one dark blue, one green, one vampire, one bigfoot, etc. The normal eye colors are named after Bright Eyes songs and the alien eyes are named after Conor Oberst songs. Everything is compressorized for your convenience, previews are included, and all files are clearly labeled. There are so so many pictures ahead, I should be ashamed. Except I'm not. Thank you Sarhra for making some pretty sweet eyes and changing your policy, Mouseyblue for making a pretty sweet skintone and letting me massacre it, and everyone who gave me input on these recolors. You guys rock my socks.

Thank you SO much for these! Just today I discovered your default and monster defaults of these eyes, but I was hesitant to use them because I'm really anal and want everything to match including things like bigfoots. I'm so glad you made eyes for genies and bigfoots too so all my default replacements can match! XD

I like everything to match too, which is why I went kinda crazy with the extra defaults. It bugged me to see poor Bigfoot on vacation looking slightly dazed compared to all my other sims. XD I'm happy you like the eyes and the defaults! :D

Vacations are very nice sometimes, even from something as presumably leisurely as the internet. :) I'm happy you found something you like for Bill, I was worried about the dark blues especially as I had such a hard time getting them right the first set of recolors!

Oh no! No no no no no!!! I'm absolutely satisfied with my current totally maxisy defaults and the overall maxisy look. And now this! You, you, you... temptress! I just gotta have this. And then I'll have to switch skins. And makeup. And hair. Shit. There goes my disc space and fast loading time. Oh, who am I kidding, I knew this was going to happen while waiting for part II.

YAY! I changed my defaults too, ha ha. Lots of people said they wanted more options for dark blue and it wasn't until I went back that I realized I didn't provide many. I'm glad you like them!

Oh goodness, I think I'm done for a little bit, I don't quite know any other set of eyes that has that many recolors available. XD I am happy you like them though and I sadly do not take babies but baked goods. Babies are difficult to digest properly.

Man, I really appreciate that. I'm glad people are trying out Maxis matchish things lately or even just hand-painted things. I like super-realistic CC and semi-realistic CC too, but it's still nice to see regardless.

I really love these eyes, and I've recently installed [info]without_pith's version of them. When I saw you had done more recolors, though, I downloaded and installed yours!

Unfortunately, they did not work. :( After going back and forth, swapping eye sets and trying to figure out what was wrong (all my other eye sets still worked, from yumedust to simrenity to without_pith), I finally determined that it must be because I play on a mac. I'd heard before of some people having trouble with eyes on macs (and other CC), and that's the only thing that I can imagine might be wrong.

I don't suppose you know of anyone whose done a mac-friendly version of these eyes?

Even if I'm unable to use them, thanks for letting me admire your beautiful work!

Hmm, I realize some things may not work on the Mac due to the resolution they're saved at. I will take a look and see what's what, but unfortunately I don't know anyone who's made a Mac-friendly version of Easy/Lucky/Free.

I am however making some personal edits of Easy/Lucky/Free on a different sclera--a little more animation-friendly much like [info]without_pith's edits--and I will be sure to take the resolution of everything into account. If I release them, they'll be here, but under a locked entry as I'm pretty sure I'll be mucking with some policy I should not be mucking with for public consumption.

Thank you SOOOO much for making contacts of these eyes! I've had the custom set in my game for awhile, but I hated that my townies didn't have these (but I also love my defaults so I was torn between the two). But now I can enjoy both maxis-match and realistic eyes! =D

Hi,

I do not have, nor desire to have an account with live journal, so please do excuse the anonymous post.

Just wanted to say these eyes are so amazingly beautiful. I have downloaded them all, defaults et all. And promptly deleted ALL other eyes. These are now the only eyes in my game and I am so happy with that. Thank you so much.

Sooo... I just discovered your journal and all your Maxis match stuff looks so beautiful! It makes me want a better graphics card. Now my downloads folder is bloated with neon and Maxis match, and I'm not even sure I can use it since everything else in my game is shiny skintone blends and Nouk and Liegen-textured hairs and ack. x_X Maybe I'd better do what some people do and make an extra user account so that I can have Maxis match on one account and shiny stuff on the other.

Anyway, yes, thank you for partially-converting me to Maxis match. I never knew it could look so good!

That's what happened to me! I tried to keep several separate folders because I'm all about the cohesiveness but I could not resist the urge to dabble in Maxis match and look where it got me. I enjoy being a bad influence however. >:D

Wow, I just found your eye sets and they're GORGEOUS, I might have to ditch my old defaults for these, especially those alien eyes! Those are definitely getting in my game! I'll finally have all my supernatural sets match, too <3

And I just have to ask, since I'm a bit of a dope when it comes to recognizing skins, but what skins are you using?

I hadn't realized that you made part 2 until yesterday! I just had to switch out the brown from Set One to use "Make War" because that is the perfect shade of brown! The alien defaults are lovely as well! I just love this eye set (as well as part one)! Thank you sooo much!

First off I LOVE Easy/Lucky/Free along with the alien defaults too. I downloaded the contacts for the alien eyes because I wanted to use it to cover up when my sims age to teens and the eyes change.

One little problem, Milk Thistle and Eagle on a Pole contacts aren't showing up in the game, not on the sims or in the full face make up section. Have no idea if it's my fault or not but I thought I'd mention it.
